World of Hyatt Devaluation

There’s no sugar coating it — the Hyatt loyalty program is about to get nuked. In a couple days, ultra-luxury hotels can potentially double in price. If you have any Hyatt points, now is the time to evacuate them. Over the years, we’re lucky to experience some aspirational hotels that you can still book until May 20th at current price.

Park Hyatt New York

Right across from Carnegie Hall, the Park Hyatt New York is at one of the most prestigious addresses in Manhattan. The hotel features one of my favorite pools to swim after a long day in the city. Cash rates averages $1000+ USD/night, so book with points before the devaluation goes live.

Park Hyatt Sydney

This hotel popped my Park Hyatt virginity. It was my very first luxury hotel stay in the World of Hyatt loyalty program. I still remember seeing the sunrise over the Sydney opera house across the harbor.

Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile

My favorite use of Premium Suite award nights with points. We got a baller Loft Suite in the city of love on points where $$$$ sucks harder on your wallet than a Dyson vacuum.

Park Hyatt Kyoto

One of the hardest Park Hyatts to book with points. At almost $1500+ USD/night and only 70 rooms in one of the most historical parts of Kyoto, this is one of the most sought out properties. We got lucky and availability popped up on the days we were in Japan.

Park Hyatt Niseko

This is one of the nicest hidden gems for Park Hyatt in the Sapporo mountains. I still remember sipping on the cappuccino every morning with Hokkaido milk.

Overall, the clock is ticking for the World of Hyatt loyalty program. These ultra-luxury hotels is about to get a lot more expensive. If you have any points and dream of accessing these bucket lists, now is the time to book. Tick tock, tick tock…
