Am I even on an airplane? Just look at this ridiculous bedroom! Hold my Krug, I’m going to make turbulence and jump on this mattress infinite times. It’s 24 hours before my 40th birthday… this is the stratospheric way to welcome the new decade. Suite dreams are made of this.

Suite 1K
I spent wayyy too much time in The Private Room. As a result, I was the last one to board and almost (embarrassingly) missed this flight. To my surprise I noticed the whole right section of Suites Class was still empty.
Nevertheless, the wall between Suite 1F and Suite 2F was up. Is there another Suite passenger boarding? I don’t want to get my hopes up…
Suddenly the cabin crew surprised me with the magic words…
Mr. Chai, would you like us to connect the double suites?

Suite 3K was empty too 🤯 so I was able to enjoy this space while they prepared the meals and beds for fun.

Overall, this flight was absolutely flawless. Every single detail from beginning to end was thoughtfully curated and I appreciated the airline’s (special shoutout to Ben Lau and Evelyn Tan) extra efforts in making this birthday era flight a moment that I will remember for decades. Truly world class.
