TPG Awards is back! Three years ago, The Points Guy hosted an epic gala event for sponsors & media in the travel industry. It was a glorious night to remember.
To celebrate its return, TPG Awards 2022 put on a full multi-story party at Terminal 5 in New York City.
1st Floor
In addition to the main stage, there was the “Travel Carpet Entrance” for invited guests, sponsors, and celebrities to take pictures.

There was a “Travel Lounge” area hosted by Lonely Planet
which had sky views of the main stage
3rd Floor
There was a “Boost your Travel” area hosted by Moderna.
On the other side, there was a “Travel Astrology” booth that predicts your travel future for 2023 hosted by Capital One.
and a fun interactive 360 degrees photo area also sponsored by Capital One
Award Ceremony
It almost felt like the Oscars. One by one, awards were given out to various sectors in the travel industry. A notable award this year is the all-time reigning champion of Singapore Suites winning “Best First Class”
Capped off the night with a private concert performance with everyone’s energy super uplifting, palpable, and 100% so much fun.
Overall, The Points Guy 2022 Party came roaring back with celebration. After three years of being “virtual”, it is so nice to see everyone’s beautiful faces in person again. It’s amazing how things can turn around for the better.
