We’re now almost a year into the post-apocalyptic Marriott Bonvoy program. Ok I kid, the program is not that bad. In fact, one of the most positive aspects about it is that our redemption in hotel stays now spans into a wide array of properties like the Renaissance in Hong Kong.
It’s a Category 6 property and a standard (non-peak) stay is 50,000 points/night.
Thanks to our Lifetime Platinum status, we were upgraded to a studio corner suite that has direct access to the club floor.

The entrance to the room is a direct view to the Harbour.

And a hanger for me to chill…
The money shot for this suite is the bathtub, which has a direct view to the skyline as well. Perfect for a romantic bubble bath without baby…
Imagine waking up like this ❤
Downstairs there’s a gym and a yoga studio with (again) decent harbour views.
To add to this wholesomeness, a tennis court for hotel guests too!
Every morning though, this little one would wake me up… so my energy level to workout, play tennis, and bubble bath was at an all-time low…
That being said, this was a much-needed relaxing stay. This was the tail end of our epic long-haul Asia trip and it was a great way to cure jet lag.
Points redemption is on the more expensive side though. With 20,000 more points, you can stay at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong at 70k/night. Nevertheless, the price reflects that — overall, one of the fanciest Renaissance city view hotels you’ll stay in the world.
