Welcome to Thailand! Sawadee-krap!

Honestly, I’ll just let the pictures speak for itself in this review. This is a gorgeous country. It’s no wonder Thailand constantly ranks at one of the top destinations to visit in the world. Today we’ll talk about the JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa.
To familiarize yourself geographically, Phuket is situated in the southern provinces of Thailand. Just an hour flight away from Bangkok, this island is home to many high-end seaside resorts. With its glorious beaches, crystal blue waters, and unforgettable sunsets, this paradise serves as a popular destination for celebrities, honeymoons, and families.

From a basic room to the royal villa, you can’t really go wrong with any of the accommodations here. They’re all generally quite spacious and comfortable.

I highly recommend booking at least three nights here. Since it’s a beach resort, this suite is designed for longer term stays. Interesting note is that this hotel is also a vacation ownership property (similar to Marriott Newport Coast Villas), so if you have club points to spare this can be a good option to use your annual cap too.
As you stroll through the hallway, you’ll notice this suite has a living room with a family dining table.

The master room feels very inviting. Little gestures such as the kissing swans and the hot tub’s rose petals are certainly a nice touch to a bear-tastic stay.

Now get ready…
Open the curtains…..
Slide the dooooooooooooor…..
And dip into your own private pool directly from the bedroom! Clothing….. optional? 😉

This suite is a destination in itself. And yes, the resort is the same too. There are endless activities, entertainment, and events around the property. Seriously… endless!

One morning, Paul decided to sign up for a private Muay Thai Kickboxing session. Warning, it’s intense!

After a busy and exciting day, you have the option to indulge in an exotic fine dining experience by their private beach.

The perfect dessert to this paradise is to attend the resort’s Sunset Ceremony. It is an authentic and unique experience to absorb all the wonders of Thai culture.
Overall, this property succeeds in giving their guests a luxurious lifestyle experience. Unlike most conventional Marriotts, the room aesthetics & special events make this resort almost feel like a SPG (or Ritz) hotel. And that’s a good thing.
So come to Phuket.
Stay a week here.
For paradise is only a flight away…
