Imagine owning a Bentley in California right off the Pacific Coast Highway with the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel as its backdrop. It really doesn’t get better than this doesn’t it? If Emirates First Class traveled on 4 wheels, this would be it. Bentley Newport Beach hosted another owners event giving you a taste in what it is like to live with these beasts.
Drive Events
Couple years ago, Bentley Motors hosted at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach. Due to “social distancing” times, we had the unique opportunity to temporarily own a Bentley and drive wherever we want in Orange County. That time, we decided to cruise down to Dana Point — the most southern part of OC.
Bentley Motors decided to double down this year. Instead of driving just one vehicle, we get a buffet of Bentleys to try!
Bentley #1: Continental GT Speed Edition 12
For the first Bentley, we decided to reunite with the Continental GT. What makes this Continental special is that it’s a limited production run of just 120 vehicles. It’s one of the last cars that is fitted with the roaring W12 engines. Tony (Paul’s brother) took the wheel and had the most hilarious nonstop grin from beginning to end of the drive.
For this event, you follow a lineup of Bentleys. We definitely got a lot of curious looks at traffic lights — so this is what the Kardashians feel like…
Ritz Carlton Laguna Lunch
Hugging the Pacific Coast, Bentley Motors generously hosted a fancy lunch at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel.
Of course, a beautiful Bentley served as the centerpiece for lunch.
Bentley #2: The Mulliner Convertible
For the second Bentley, we decided to go California style and sample the Mulliner Convertible. What makes this Bentley so special is that the interiors are full of ultra-luxe custom features (i.e. champagne fridge, sound system, stone veneers, diamond leather, etc.) which makes the vehicle one of a kind to your liking. It is built not only for the driver… but for passengers wanting to enjoy the highest level of comfort in a car. When the white beast pulled up at the valet, Miki looked like she was right at home.
I took the wheel and did a spirited drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. The open air… the feeling of freedom… the emotional rush…. what a drive
Ritz Carlton Laguna Dinner
The adrenaline sure worked up our appetite. To cap off the evening, we had an early dinner with a gorgeous view off the Pacific Coast. No more driving, so time to uncork the Napa Valley wine!

Overall, this was a superb event. Special thanks to Bentley Newport Beach for inviting us to experience these timeless beasts. You guys sure know how to throw a creative party complementing your glorious vehicles with California.
