Owning a timeshare is like navigating through an exotic desert. Its niche (overly complicated) program can feel like a barren landscape for award travel. Nevertheless if you explore hard enough within its trail… you can sometimes discover hidden treasures that almost feels like a mirage.
In an earlier post, I explained how we used expiring Marriott Club Points to redeem timeshare resorts in Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Palm Springs for the holidays.
But what if you have an expiring week? For those not familiar with the program, owners can toss their club points week into an exchange platform called “Interval International“.
Simply put, Interval International is an affiliated timeshare partner that helps owners exchange their properties with different owners around the world. As you can imagine, the nicer the resorts, the harder it is to snag a timeshare redemption. Notably…
Four Seasons Residence Club

Through a little bit of luck (plus borderline obsessive checking), an availability open up and we got confirmed for an one week ownership at the Four Seasons Scottsdale Residence Club. As a matter of fact, we’re still staying here right now as we speak!
Like using Choice Privilege points to redeem for Pendry hotels, there are hidden treasures/loopholes within a mirage of award programs.
If you search it hard enough, it can be a rewarding reality
stay tuned, residence review coming soon 😉
