Thorny trick, leverage Marriott Club Points for Four Seasons ownership

Owning a timeshare is like navigating through an exotic desert. Its niche (overly complicated) program can feel like a barren landscape for award travel. Nevertheless if you explore hard enough within its trail… you can sometimes discover hidden treasures that almost feels like a mirage.

In an earlier post, I explained how we used expiring Marriott Club Points to redeem timeshare resorts in Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Palm Springs for the holidays.

But what if you have an expiring week? For those not familiar with the program, owners can toss their club points week into an exchange platform called “Interval International“.

Through a little bit of luck (plus borderline obsessive checking), an availability open up and we got confirmed for an one week ownership at the Four Seasons Scottsdale Residence Club. As a matter of fact, we’re still staying here right now as we speak!
