W Taipei (Marvelous Suite)

Traveling is always a constant battle between trying something new or re-visiting experiences you love in the past. Well I have to admit, when it comes to hotels in Taiwan (& Japan)… the latter usually wins 🙂

 

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to W Taipei.

To make this stay a little more special, we decided to opt for the Marvelous Suite.

 

 

 

 

The entrance to the living room is quite impressive.

 

 

 

The room is built to entertain.

 

 

 

 

Near the office area, the signature W animal art piece is displayed. Is it my bodyguard? Or bartender? Hm, probably bartender.

 

 

 

Adjacent to the living room, there are two sliding doors that connect to the beautiful master bedroom.

 

Or to quote Tony’s reaction, “Dammmmmmmn” 

 

 

 

 

 

Like Le Méridien Taipei, the bathroom is filled with marble. And most importantly… roof shower!!!

 

 

 

Between 5:00pm – 7:00pm, don’t forget to head up to Yen (or Woobar) to take advantage of complimentary mixology drinks on the house!

 

 

 

 

Can’t complain about the view too…

 

 

 

If #namaste is more your thing, head downstairs to the yoga studio for the same quality view.

 

 

Overall, this hotel still lives up to its time. Since 2011, we have throughly enjoyed our every stay here. Not much has changed, but that’s the beauty of it; re-visiting an experience you know it’s good.

My only complaint is that the stay was too short. I want more… I always want more.
