The craftsmanship of luxury is a good description for the world in Dubai. Everywhere you look, you always see limitless architectural marvels… providing the new standard of luxury in the real estate/hotel industry. And of course, the new St. Regis Dubai is by far no exception.
Upon entering, you will immediately notice the hotel’s meticulous level of extravagance. From the circular inlaid marble floor in the lobby… to the grand staircases that draws your eyes naturally upward towards a crystal chandelier… and finally down to the fine-dressed staffs that welcomes you to the hotel – the St. Regis Dubai exudes a level of grandeur and opulence of what you would expect in Dubai, United Arab of Emirates.
The check-in experience is quite personal and extraordinary. You are escorted to the front desk and upon seating where you will be offered a classic option of dates and Arabian coffee. Hard to complain with this type of royal treatment! The subtle refreshing zest is a great way to cure any jet lag from your long travels.
“O“… to the “M“… to the “G“… just like the W Dubai, their suites are stylish and luxurious. Spanning over 1100 square feet, the Empire Suite is built for personal accommodation for relaxation and entertainment. As for all St. Regis, they provide unpacking services, morning french-press coffees (Nespresso machine too in case of laziness), and iron garment pressing services upon request.
The large living room and bedroom is separated by an oversized double doors. Minimalism in Dubai is not in its dictionary.
The suite’s oversized marble flooring, vanity room, and bathroom is simply divine. I feel like at least three people can even take a shower, bubble bath, and do their hair/makeup etc. comfortably here at the same time!
After getting acquainted with our suite, our butler recommended us to head downstairs to enjoy their ceremonial champagne sabering ritual for some free-flowing bubbles.
Miki is ready for some shopping after all the bubbly funs. No wonder she’s so happy, I think the world’s largest mall is only five minutes away… Uh oh, Paul’s in trouble.
After a long night of shopping and excursions, the butler even elevated our experiences by surprising the bedroom with romantic rose petals on the bed.
D’aw, they spoil bears too much. Where will Miki & Paul sleep now? I guess they’ll get the living room tonight and I’ll get the bed. Sweet deal 😉
Aside from its dining, Dubai loves to turn it up a notch. Drawing inspirations from all the St. Regis properties around the world, this hotel takes the brand & dazzles us even more in size, opulence, and luxury. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually prefer this hotel over the glitzy W Dubai.
From check-in to checkout… to moment by moment, the customer service here is at its perfection. Heck, they even took the initiative and contacted Etihad Airways to change our First Class Apartment’s chauffeur services to accommodate for our delays during our Skydive Dubai experience.
Well done St. Regis Dubai. Well done.
