Booking

We are not Ritz Carlton owners by any means, so how did we score these residences? Like Aspen and Vail, a small portion of allocation goes to partners like Marriott Vacation Club. Through persistence and luck, we were able to redeem MVC points to snag a huuuge residence at a value usage price.

For only 1450 club points, we booked a 1900 sq-ft residence for three nights. We had 7 of us including yours truly Chloe in our party and it was more than enough room to reside all of us. To put into perspective, Ritz owners rents the same units on average of $1500/night on Red Week. We did it for just 480 MVC points/night. What an incredible steal.

Residence

To our surprise, Chloe got a special Ritz Kids Lion upon check-in. This seems to be a tradition in their timeshare program since it happened during our previous stays at other Ritz Carlton Club® locations too.

Spanning over 1900 sq-ft, our residence features 3 bedrooms + 3.5 baths. It is definitely the largest unit we’ve ever stayed using MVC points.

Ritz Carlton Club® can enjoy all the amenities the hotel has to offer. During our stay, we attended a private barre session with Sarah, a lovely Pilates trainer at the hotel.

Overall, this is another gem in the Ritz Carlton’s Residences portfolio. While timeshares have extreme limitations in use, it’s nice to see that there are still pockets of sweet spots you can redeem with Marriott Vacation Club points. If you’re a Marriott owner that is stuck with timeshares, this property can be a great option to use (if you can find availability) for family travel.
