Just a quick PSA for World of Hyatt loyalists to keep track of your “Brand Explorer” status. For those that aren’t aware, Hyatt has a special perk where you get a free award night for every 5 different Hyatt brand stays. Today, we received an email saying “You Just Earned a Brand Explorer”. Since we usually stay at the same hotel brands, this perk took awhile to receive and was on the back burner for the longest time!
Every Hyatt member gets this benefit. Simply go to your “World of Hyatt” account and tap the “My Awards” to check your progress on the free night.
For Hyatt credit card members that gets the annual free nights from Category 1-4, this could be a good opportunity to checkout random Hyatt brands for fun. For example, last weekend we redeemed an expiring “free night certificate” at the Grand Hyatt Manchester in San Diego. Chloe’s face expression is pretty much spot on to my reaction when I saw the Brand Explorer Award get deposited to our account.
