Alaska Airlines Flagship Seattle Lounge

It’s an exciting time to be an OneWorld Elite especially if your hub is in Seattle. Alaska Airlines has recently joined OneWorld and the airline expanded into a powerhouse that potentially rivals the “big three” carriers (Delta, American, United) in its global network.

Opened in mid-2019 right before the pandemic, Alaska Airlines Flagship Lounge access originally was quite restrictive. Now in 2021, even Priority Pass temporarily has access as domestic/international travels rebound. Located in the North Satellite Terminal, this lounge is worth the trek just to check it out.

Spanning over 15,000 sq-ft, this lounge takes up the whole second floor of the terminal. The wood decor of the lounge with its grand fireplace is tastefully designed to reflect the destination of Alaska Airlines. You almost feel like you’re in a giant fancy hotel in the state’s last frontier.

The expansive floor to ceiling windows offers great views for airplanes spotting while sipping on a glass of wine.

or you can face the fancy bar while sipping on a cold draft beer..

Overall, this is an amazing OneWorld lounge. For a limited time, this is in the Priority network too, which makes it the best Priority Pass lounge we have visited to date. Yes, even beating Air China’s First Class priority lounge in Beijing.

My only regret is not going to the airport earlier to enjoy the place. Next time save an extra hr or two in enjoying the airport… especially if you’re flying in an OneWorld network.
