Emirates First Class (2025)

Of course, we have to save the most epic for last. The final post of our Around the World with Emirates travel diary series is its iconic Emirates First Class. Here’s the story of the full experience and how we miraculously pulled it off.

Booking

Emirates First Class availability patterns can be quite unpredictable at times. There’s no mathematical calculus in when to book it in advance. Simply put, you have to check the calendar at your desired date of travel regularly. Generally the more empty the plane, the higher the chance of it showing up.

For maximum value, the best route to book is its Fifth Freedom flights since it avoids UAE’s high award taxes and surcharges. For example, the MXP-JFK route only costs 204K miles & $262 Euros for two passengers while the LAX-DXB routes will cost almost the same amount of miles plus triple the taxes/surcharges just for one passenger.

Feeling lucky? You can upgrade your Emirates Business Class flights to First Class at a steep discount if you’re in the mood to gamble on the day of your flight. I like to call it the Emirates “Secret” Sweet Spot. Just like our New Years Dubai trip, we decided to roll the dice for all our upcoming Emirates flights and…

First Class Suite

Would you like a glass of Dom Pérignon?
yes…
Dom Pérignon Plenitude 2?
has anyone low key ever said no

You have to pair the rare Dom Pérignon Plenitude 2 with something right? How’s unlimited caviar all day all night, how does that sound. No joke, you can request as many caviar courses as you like throughout the flight.

Even the First Class menu is a personalized publishing book for you to keep. With “digital menus” and “QR codes” as a trend nowadays, this change is especially appreciated when you have such a ridiculously heavy book for you just to browse and order food. This extra sensory detail adds such a powerful effect on the whole experience for…

Fine dining in the sky

First Class Sky Bar

The First Class Sky Bar is shared with the Business Class passengers on the upper deck. Nevertheless if you’re a First Class passenger, every single cocktail can be made with the bottles in First Class. For example, we pounded almost 3 bottles of Dom throughout the flight sprinkle with some espresso martinis.

Hey if you’re feeling generous, you can be the bartender yourself and sneak some First Class offerings to Business Class passengers. Sharing is caring, let them taste some of the good life 😘

First Class Shower(s)

I personally think this is the best part of the flight. I still remember doing it 7+ years ago on my first ever Emirates flight. No matter how many times… no matter how many pictures… no matter how many videos you see on instagram, it’s something you have to experience yourself.

Pro tip, request shower times that are “less popular”. Typically, the most common slot for First Class passengers is after they wake up before landing. Since I was awake the entire flight, I was able to take multiple showers while the other passengers were sleeping 😏

When the remaining time runs out, the shower attendant can reload the water for you if she’s feeling nice. In total, I got 10 minutes of running water and almost an hour in the shower suite.

Afterwards, it’s Emirates tradition to serve you tea or coffee. Seriously, no words can describe the feeling of taking a shower on top of the world.

Overall, this is hands down the most entertaining flight we’ve had to date. Emirates forever sets the bar in knowing how to throw a soirée in the sky. It masterfully romanticizes travel in where everything felt like a movie dream. Here’s the instagram reel in us trying to capture this destination experience.

For a party in the stars, flying does not get any better than this
