Allôoo enchanté city of love 💕 For this stay, I had trouble deciding between Park Hyatt Vendôme that retails 45,000 pts/night for a standard room or a premium suite at its sister hotel in Étoile for 30,000 pts/night. Since Chloe was with us, I decided it was smarter to do the latter — a cherry on top is the amazing Eiffel Tower views. Imagine having breakfasts every morning like this…
Booking
This hotel is priced at a value category 4 rate. That means you can book a standard room for just 15,000 pts/night. That means for premium suite bookings, it’s possible to get one at 30,000 pts/night. For select dates, you can even do a points + cash redemption.
Cash rates for suites tends to hover around 700 euros to 950 euros which is still quite expensive for the Étoile area. This is a great example of why Chase Sapphire Preferred cards are great travel cards. The bonus offer alone gets you a week at this hotel.
Loft Suite
The hotel proactively upgraded us to the rooftop Loft Suite on the 34th floor of the hotel. It’s a special suite where it features floor to ceiling amenities that feels like you can stack more than two rooms vertically on top of each other.
The Loft Suite also has direct access to its rooftop Hyatt Club lounge that is complimentary for Hyatt Globalist members.
Breakfast is also here too. I find myself having almost 2-3 hour meals every morning being in a love spell with the epic Eiffel Tower views.

When we want to go shopping, we hailed an uber and it was a short 15 min ride. Not to mention, the rides in Paris are surprisingly luxurious! One of them ended up being a party Mercedes sprinter that Chloe got very excited in.
Overall, Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile is a phenomenal value stay for cash and points redemptions. Without breaking the bank, you can redeem a suite for less than the cost of a standard room in the city center. The surprise upgrade to the Loft Suite is appreciated and it definitely made our impression of the City of Love extra special.
