Arrive

Thailand Mandatory Digital Arrival Card

Planning a trip to Thailand? Kǎw tôde-krup… your arrival experience thru customs is going to be different soon. Starting May 1st 2025, all visitors entering the country must complete a digital arrival card within 72 hours of your flight. Thai citizens thankfully are exempt from this annoying requirement.

This follows South Korea where you have to fill out a K-ETA form in order to enter the country. Last year, Miki almost didn’t make it to Seoul and Jeju Island because of this technicality. To say the least, we were beyond excited the customs immigration at the very last minute let her in.

Step 1

The good news is that it looks pretty straightforward to do. Simply fill out your traveler info.

Step 2

Next, fill out your flight information.

Step 3

Lastly a simple health declaration form — you click submit and ta-da, you’re done. Welcome to Thailand.

Overall, it’s important to keep up with these travel requirements to avoid unexpected stress and headaches internationally. For Thailand, it is now remembering that you have to do this TDAC form.

That way, your next travel here will feel like a Thai Royal First Class 😘 suay makk
