Emirates Business Class (2025)

Business… or pleasure? Emirates likes to clap back and shout, “hey, why not both 😘” this is what it’s like when you have to fly roundtrip for 32+ hrs with an airline from Dubai that needs no introduction.

Booking

Operating one of the longest flights in the world, Emirates awards definitely comes at a premium. For a one-way flight from LAX-DXB, Emirates charges 157,500 Skywards miles plus taxes and fees. In hindsight, this makes our epic New Years Dubai trip an absolute steal since its prior to its program devaluation. Maybe the airline saw our trip and didn’t want such a big entourage to party on its planes anymore 😜

The best method to save some points and maximize value is to book a roundtrip flight. That way, you can activate the “Business Saver” rate and the Skywards program charges just 198,000 miles effectively making it only 99,000 miles (198K÷2) each way. Alternatively, you can also book a revenue fare which adds an additional perk of Emirates Chauffeur Drive Service where the airline will personally escorts you to the airport from the comfort of your home.

Experience

For Emirates LAX Business and First Class passengers, you can enjoy its lounges at Tom Bradley International Terminal.

Similar to our previous visits, the lounge has consistent quality offerings for dining and refreshments compared to others in the terminal. I’m looking at you AMEX Centurion lounge…

If you’re flying from Dubai, be sure you visit Emirates lounge in Concourse B. There’s a lounge within the lounge called the Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar that’s worth a visit of its own.

This route is currently flying its newest planes that feature the latest Business Class. The design of the cabin has a slightly more understated beige tone instead of gold.

For couples, there’s the honeymoon configuration in the middle where the seats are close together which is perfect for Chloe.

Bottles and models

The A380 onboard bar also features a makeover where the lounge has a lighter color palette

Just don’t have Miki has a bartender, she tends to pop and spill champagne bottles quite easily 😘

instagram vs reality

A fun activity you can do is to request a “Polaroid Moment” with the flight attendants. They’ll take out an Emirates camera and often double as a photographer. Afterwards, they’ll print out the pictures they took for you as a fun memory for the flight.

It’s quite an exciting flight, but if you happen to get sleepy they can also prepare the bed for you back at your seat or…

Fine dining in the sky

Rise and shine, here’s the limitless noms you can have on the 32+ hr flights

Still craving something before landing? More desserts can always be found back at the onboard bar. Make sure to take extra if you have a fancy sweet tooth, these decadent chocolates are expensive!

Overall, Emirates Business Class is one of the most entertaining ways to fly across the world. The experience extends beyond your seat where there’s even a cocktail bar lounge in the sky. For revenue passengers, you additionally get personal chauffeurs that brings you to/from your home. For mileage redemptions, it is definitely worth a splurge once in awhile for a special occasion. Regardless of how you do it, don’t forget to take a “Polaroid Moment” with the airline.
