Imagine your airline experience start at your own front door. Knock, knock, Emirates has arrived — time to whisk you away like a Cinderella to LAX. Unlike Etihad Chauffeur, Emirates is the only airline in the world that offers this type of white glove car service globally for its passengers. The experience is quite literally door-to-door to your next hotel destination and then straight back home. Today, we’ll dive into how this process works.
Eligibility
This service is available for select passengers book on Emirates Business and/or First Class revenue fares. Generally speaking as long as you booked directly with Emirates and did not choose the “special fare” code, you are eligible to take advantage of this ground experience. Also keep in mind that award redemptions unfortunately does not qualify.
Remember you can use this perk on both your origin and destination.
- Flying to Dubai? No problem, a car will pick you up at DXB to your hotel.
- Flying to Los Angeles? No problem, a car will pick you up at LAX to take you home.
Booking
Once eligible, booking is pretty straightforward. Simply log into your Emirates Skywards account and a “special complimentary benefits” section should populate.
As long as you reserve the car more than 48 hours in advance, you will be good to go. For Los Angeles, you have a 50 miles (80km) radius for this complimentary chauffeur. The airline partners with Blacklane, which is a luxury $$$$ service if you actually pay out of pocket.
Departure
It’s a surreal feeling when your airline experience literally starts at your front door. The car for the ride to LAX was a Mercedes EQS.

Arrival
When you walk out of security and customs, there will be another driver waiting for you at the baggage claim. The driver will then take your bags and escort you to the parked car. On the other side of the world, it was also a Mercedes.
It’s amazing to see the consistency in the type of cars Emirates used for their global fleet regardless of what country you’re in. Oh look, steering wheel on the right (instead of the left) side of the car now 🚗
Home
Time for the return trip! Emirates again on brand is waiting for you at the valet lobby to whisk you back home.
And then poof! Like magic, Miki is back at the front door where we started couple days ago. Souvenirs not included 😜
